1. Definition and classification
Definition: Drainage board is a board set on the surface of a building or a specific engineering area to collect and discharge moisture and play a protective role at the same time.
Classification: Drainage boards can be divided into many types according to different materials, structures and occasions of use. 2. Structure and characteristics
Structure: Drainage boards are usually composed of a bottom layer, a core layer, and a surface layer. The bottom layer is usually made of polyester non-woven fabric or other permeable materials, which plays a role in filtering and diverting water flow; the core layer is made of materials such as high-density polyethylene (HDPE) or polypropylene (PP) to collect and store rainwater; the surface layer is used to protect the core layer and enhance the bearing capacity of the drainage board.
