1. Preparation before construction

The advantages are that the ground is clean and easy to maintain, but the disadvantages are that the amount of PP Plastic Mulch is large, the procurement cost is high, and the PP Plastic Mulch needs to be lifted when applying organic fertilizer.
B.Planting bed laying: With the planting behavior as the center line, PP Plastic Mulch is laid on the left and right sides for 0.6 meters to 2 meters, and the aisle is exposed. It is suitable for fruit tree planting orchards. The advantages are high cost performance, moderate amount of PP Plastic Mulch, and low cost, but the disadvantages are that weed management is required in the aisle, and PP Plastic Mulch needs to be lifted when applying fertilizer.
C.Square sheet laying: Cut PP Plastic Mulch into pieces and put the seedling in the center. The advantages are flexibility and convenience, but the disadvantages are troublesome laying, small weed prevention range, and the need to lift up one by one when applying fertilizer.
Leave the root area for laying: Cover the entire planting area with PP Plastic Mulch, but leave the root area. The advantages are good weed prevention effect and convenient fertilization, but the disadvantages are large amount of PP Plastic Mulch and troublesome laying.
②Laying steps:
Dig a trench along the previously drawn line with a depth of 5~10 cm, and bury one side of the PP Plastic Mulch in the trench.
Two people operate at the same time, pull the PP Plastic Mulch along the row direction and lay it on the bed surface, ensuring it is flat and tight, avoiding wrinkles or unevenness.
Another group of people cover the soil and press the edges to ensure that the PP Plastic Mulch is firmly fixed.
Use wire, plastic ground nails, ground stakes and other materials to fix the two pieces of PP Plastic Mulch to prevent them from being blown up or moved by the wind.
3. Post-maintenance
①Inspection and fixation:
Inspect the PP Plastic Mulch every year or as needed to ensure that the edges are firmly fixed to prevent tearing in strong winds.
If there are loose or damaged parts, repair and fix them in time.
②Weeding and maintenance:
Pull out the weeds at the opening of the ground cloth manually to ensure the weed control effect.
After the crops are harvested, store and maintain the PP Plastic Mulch.
Fold neatly and store in a ventilated and dry place, avoid long-term exposure to sunlight or moisture to prevent aging or damage.
4. Precautions
①Breathability: Although PP Plastic Mulch can effectively prevent the growth of weeds, you should also pay attention to its breathability to ensure that there is sufficient oxygen supply in the soil.
