What are the classifications of rough geomembrane?
Release time:

The classification of rough geomembranes is mainly based on the roughness and morphology of its surface, including single rough surface, double rough surface and column point geomembranes.
What are the classifications of texture geomembrane?
Classification by surface roughness:
1.Single rough geomembrane
Definition: Single rough geomembrane is a geomembrane with one rough side and one smooth side. In the construction of slope anti-seepage projects, the rough side is usually facing up to contact the geotextile to achieve an anti-slip effect.
Implementation standards: mainly include the national standard GB/T17643-2011 GH-2T1 standard and the urban construction CJ/T234-2006 HDPE2-1 standard.
Production process: generally a three-layer co-extrusion blow molding process.

2.Double rough geomembrane
Definition: Double rough geomembrane is a geomembrane with rough surfaces on both sides. It has a wide range of uses. In the construction of slope anti-seepage projects, both the upper and lower sides can contact the geotextile, thereby achieving an anti-slip effect.
Implementation standards: mainly include the national standard GB/T17643-2011 GH-2T2 standard and the urban construction CJ/T234-2006 HDPE2-2 standard.
Production process: generally a three-layer co-extrusion blow molding process.

Classification by surface morphology
Column point geomembrane
Definition: Column point geomembrane is a geomembrane with uniform convex points on one or both sides. Its rough points are evenly distributed and beautiful in appearance. It can be used in slope anti-seepage projects to effectively prevent leakage, sliding and pollution.
Implementation standards: The implementation standards are the same as those of single and double rough geomembranes, but the production process is mostly calendering.

Classification of production processes
Although the above classification is mainly based on surface morphology and roughness, the production process of rough geomembranes also has a certain impact on their performance and application. Common production processes include:
Blown film roughening: produced by adding roughening materials to blown film or using nitrogen roughening.
Column point rough surface: extruded through a mold using a laminating device to form uniform convex points.
Roughening: First, use laminating or blowing to produce a smooth geomembrane, and then use the roughening equipment to randomly spray plastic filaments on the smooth geomembrane to make a rough geomembrane.
